A4 Calendar Template

I have been creating a fairly basic Calendar for a school. I have made a few before, and found it annoying and labour intensive to change each month with the different days/dates changing.

So..

I have created this template which I hope is future proof. The template is only available in Indesign, but this is how it works.

Open the file and you will see in the pages file a list of master pages

  • 31-MONDAY
  • 31-TUESDAY
  • 31-WEDNESDAY
  • 31-THURDSAY
  • ………
  • 28-MONDAY
  • and so on

All these pages are as stated,
31 = the amount of days in the month.
MONDAY = The 1st date day of the month.

I have created masters for all possible months what ever the year. Apply the page your require for the month and the dates should be correct.

Each master page includes a picture box and generic month title to be changed.
You can unlock these by holding apple+shift and click on the desired object.

Font, and colours are all easily changed. I have set up paragraph and table styles that when changed will alter through out the template.

DATES

  • Table Style – DATES Will change the tables strokes and cell infills.
  • Paragraph Style – DATES Will change the font/size, alignment and colour.

DAYS

  • Table Style – DATES Will change the tables strokes and cell infills.
  • Paragraph Style – DATES Will change the font/size, alignment and colour.

MONTHS

  • Paragraph Style – DATES Will change the font/size, alignment and colour.

Thanks, I also have to create a calendar each year and find the process tedious. If I ever find one that allows automatic generation of calendar pages with holidays etc. I’ll come back and note it here.
