Hutch (Nearly Finished)

We have been building probably the biggest hutch I’ve ever seen. It started when Katie wanted to breed rabbits & guinea pigs, so we looked at rabbit hutches in pet shops. The hutches were poor quality for the amount of money it would cost to buy 5 or 6 hutches (and they were on the small side for them to run about).

So we decided I would design and build (with the help of many friends and family). I measured up the area at the top of our garden and set about my design in freehand!! (not a recognised CAD program but did the trick).

With it measuring 2m x 1.5m it’s a monster, just a bit bigger than I envisaged. I pulled out all the trees out from where it will reside the other weekend and have set some concrete ready for the paving stones. So it is the big move this next weekend, any volunteers welcome as we will need a football team to move this thing.
